Chocolate Buffet @ The Courtyard

On a Side Note...
I'm playing Pokemon (Pearl), much to my girlfriend's disbelief =P
I'm out of inspiration to blog, maybe partly due to the fact that I'm distracted by Pokemon. Hence, my sweet love is doing me a favour by blogging on the chocolate buffet that we went to last Friday...
Alas, my boyfriend mentioned the Pokemon playing frenzy between him and his friends... -.- What can I say? I was once a gameboy Pokemon player and so is my brother (primary school days, mind you. FYI, he is an old man). I am in no position? =/

Okay now that he is so occupied with his game, I shall blog behalf of him. =p

Twas last Friday, I was filled with grumpiness whilst we're out and didn't like something that he did. But he was gonna bring me somewhere secretive =p And I liked every bit of the goodness.


Chocolate Buffet! (Fullerton Hotel)


Baby told me he had to make reservations for this place as only limited seats are available. (like 30+?)

So I wasn't feeling better even though I saw like everything made out of chocolate and everything that me lovie =p, I started tearing and rushed back to our seat and holding a chocolate soup(!), which was contained in a totally unstable sorta cup and it almost toppled until this macho manager guy saved the day. Hehehe. Although I couldn't see his face. =x

But for the rest of the day, my baby's sweeter than any chocolate.


Hehehe he spent like almost an hour making 13 roses, one of em for a female chef who made us a chocolate drink, we had it last so it was too rich to be finished. Remember to have it first if you're gonna be there!

I held the bouquet the whole time, strolling near Clarke Quay and in the MRT, which attracted many glances. I was secretly over the moon. =x Don't know why he's been such a darling nowadays. Chocolates, Napkin flowers, iPod... He's gonna go buy waffles for me now! =p He's the best.

Thanks my LOVE!! <3 (although you can actually spell my name wrong =/)

She got me a Fossil watch last week, which was supposed to be for my birthday. She said she couldn't wait so long to give it to me, so I got it in early early advance =P Thanks baby, I like it lots! =D

The Cosmopolitan

On a Side Note...
Off-in-lieu for last Sunday's MG shoot = long weekend!

Glass: Cocktail
Garnish: A slice of lime or a submerged maraschino cherry
Ingredients:
i. 1 shot of vodka
ii. 1/2 shot of Cointreau
iii. 1 shot of cranberry juice
iv. A dash of lime

How to concoct:
Fill mixing glass with cracked ice.
Add i. ii. and iii. to mixing glass.
Stir and strain into serving glass.
Add iv. to serving glass and garnish.

This is a very easy cocktail to make, but go easy on the vodka and Cointreau as my first few attempts proved to be rather potent. One of my new course-mate used to work at Zouk as a bartender, which gave me an excellent opportunity to learn more about drinks-mixing from him =D

Splurgee

On a Side Note...
The Scorpion King 2 is out on DVD. It's released straight-to-DVD, which means that it won't be out on the big screens... Going for dinner with baby at Ichiban Sushi soon =D

This is my new pair of shoes to go with my wardrobe overhaul. Baby was my fashion consultant for Friday, and at the end of the trip I was laden with 8 bags of clothes, which is by far the most constructive and helpful trip. I don't like to be a fussy buyer, and coupled with my poor judgment, I tend to buy clothes that are of a slight misfit in the past. But with her, all the clothes that I bought fit neatly and nicely =D

I might have overspent (okay actually it's not maybe, it's certainly), but doing this once in a long long time does give a great sense of satisfaction. In all, I bought;

5 T-Shirts
2 Polo Tees
1 Shirt
1 Jacket
1 pair of jeans
2 pairs of short berms
1 pair of loafers
1 iPod nano for her =)

Which came up to... A three figure amount that starts with eight =X Fortunately, this month's NS allowance is enough to sustain my shopping due to last month's back-pay of combat allowance. Baby's K3 functions no more, hence I got her a nano (which I actually wanted to before her mom gave her the K3). She likes it, I like it, and we're both happy =D

TupperBean

On a Side Note...
Most of the high-key events for my ongoing course is over. It's been tiring. It hasn't been fair, perhaps it's time to make my stand.
Been busy all day setting up the online catalog for Tupperware products. Mom recently signed up as a Tupperware agent, and I'm helping her and myself by selling some products.
